Cocoa is a 3 month old Mix-Breed in Northfield , VT, who needs $1,500 for FHO/FHNE.

I recently got Cocoa about a month and a half ago. I had two cats before her and I wanted one more. I found her brother on facebook and they wanted to give away her and her brother Otto together so I took them both. They love each other. They don't leave each others sides. When one of them moves, the other one goes with.

On April 2nd, I noticed that Cocoa wasn't acting like herself. She was lying on the floor not moving at all. I went to pet her and pick her up and she started meowing like she was hurt. When I woke up, She was moving around but she was limping. So i decided to take her to the vet. They did an X-Ray and discovered she had a broken hip.

Cocoa is extremely loving. She can cuddle and sleep all day, she can play with the other cats all day. Two of the other cats are older and don't play as much as she does but her and Otto play all the time and with her being hurt, Otto doesn't have anyone to play with.

Cocoa needs surgery to fix her hip. Her surgery will cost almost $1600. I don't have that kind of money saved up and her surgery is very important to me. Anything will help!!
