About this campaign
We adopted Coconut in May 2024. My daughter wanted a Calico but saw Coconut and fell in love with her. She is a joy. She's a big kitty and runs awkwardly. She's bottom heavy and cannot jump high. It's funny to see her pounce and try to run like a small cat. We love her.
Coconut got into an aloe plant or string. She needs X-rays and probably surgery. They gave her anti nausea medication but it isn't working. She isn't eating and losing weight fast. We're in the Mercer County, NJ. I took her to VEG ER for Pets on Saturday. It was $500 out of pocket. I wasn't approved for Care Credit so I spent from my grocery and gas money. We're going to Cats Only McSnip soon.
Our Coco is a special girl. She answers when we speak to her. She our family. It's hard seeing her like this. I don't know what happened. We love her so much. and don't want to lose her.
I'm a single mother, working full time but underpaid. Everything that I have goes to my family first. My mom was recently diagnosed with cancer and I am taking care of her too. I'm usually ok with managing needs but this expense came from nowhere and I want to save her life.
