Cody is an 8-year-old Terrier mix in Germantown, MD, who needs $1,000 for Anal Sac Mass Excision.

I bought my dog when I was only 13 years old. Cody has been with me since an early teen with a family of 5. He has a loving home that loves him dearly and constantly tries to give him the best care he can possibly get. He loves to tackle with his brother who is a cat and they love to play together especially at night time when they run around the house like maniacs!

Cody loves to go on long walks and has 4 walks a day! He loves to eat his homemade chicken, rice, veggies, and ground beef. He barely eats his dry food now ever since his sister has started cooking for him. He likes to sleep with his legs up and he does snore which is the cutest little noise ever! Be aware though, Cody is a barker and loves to bark at strangers.

I just want the best care for Cody and without financial help, as a 22-year old that has to pay for his surgery because my parents are not able to, it is hard when I just graduated from my university and haven't found a job yet! My parents can only help so much.

I originally took Cody to Germantown vet clinic to get his dental cleaning but it turned to be the opposite of what I was expecting. It turned out Cody had an anal gland and was referred to an oncologist specialist at Veterinary Referral Associates. We are not sure if it is AGASACA until his surgery is performed and the mass is taken to a biopsy to be confirmed.

Cody barks at any stranger he sees and gets excited to see anyone walk by the house. He gets excited to see his mom and dad when they arrive from work especially his dad! He is a daddy's boy and does not leave his side. He is scared of thunder and will wake you up in the middle of the night if he hears thunder.
