About this campaign
Cody was adopted from a no kill shelter shortly after my fiancée and I moved into our first apartmemt. We had another male cat at the time and they quickly became friends. Currently Cody lives in the same apartment and has his older brother and younger sister.
I had noticed that Cody was excessively licking his genital area and making frequent trips to the litter box. After coming home from work a few days ago, he wouldn’t eat his dinner which is highly unusual for him. I took him to urgent care. He is not blocked but straiing to urinate. A couple days later my vet believes he may have a bladder stone and results are pending a urine test.
Cody was adopted by my fiancée, Ron, and I right after we moved into our first apartment together. Cody instantly took to Ron and would always be sleeping next to Ron anytime WWE was on tv. He was daddy’s boy! About 8 months after we adopted him both Ron passed away from Covid. Cody was very affected by Ron’s passing. His daddy and best friend was gone.
Cody may need surgery to remove a possible bladder stone. I was quoted a surgery cost of $1000 from current vet but I will be ontaining second opinions. A possible immediate surgery of $1000 just is not something I can do right now. I do work full time and pay my bills
