Coffee came into my life as a surprise visitor. I first met her as a baby at my brother's house. She was sorta left out of the litter by the others. She slept in a box next to me that night because I didn't want her to be alone. Weeks later my mom would showed up with her at my door. I couldn't turn her away. I named her Coffee b/c her swirls remind me of when creamer stirs into coffee, beautiful

I wish I understood how pet insurance worked when she was that little, unfortunately I didn't get her covered then. At her age now insurance won't cover much of anything as they consider it pre-existing. She is needing tooth extractions & antibiotics that I cannot afford. I can't stand seeing her in pain. The vet so far has done what they can but the next step is to have her undergo dental surgery

My coffee girl is such a talker & has always been a playful girl. Her fav toys are ribbons & plushies on a fishing rod. She is never more than arm's length away from me & sleeps right next to me. At her age, I feel like she takes care of me, she even has a curfew for me. Ha. She's certified ESA. She has truly been there for me through some of the toughest bouts of depression and anxiety.

I am a single income household and a full-time student. Through the years vet visits have been out of pocket because I did not get insurance from when she was young. I have been able to cover hundreds of dollars at a time, but now the cost is thousands and I don't have it.
