Colbie is a 10-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat in Germantown, MD, who needs $1,865 for a biopsy of her small intestine.

Colbie was adopted from Montgomery County Animal Shelter in Rockville, MD in October of 2009. She was in foster care and 5 months and 10 days old. I selected her from a picture I saw her on online and because of the expression on her face and her large pointed ears. I don't believe in silly cat names, so she was named after a musician on the radio coming home to her new forever home from foster care . After all she is just like my daughter and deserves a proper name.
She was in a room just full of kittens and young cats , Colbie came right to me and jumped in my lap this cemented the bond between us.
