Comet is an 8-year-old mix in Nanticoke, PA, who needs $900 for surgery.

Our pet came into our life 8 years ago. He was an outside cat. He was all by him self and was very under weight so we decided to take him in and raise him. He went from a 5lbs cat to 18lbs in just less of a year. There are two other cats that we also brought into are house. We named him Comet because he had spunk in him and loved to run around almost like a Comet.

Comet is one of the best cats we ever had. The most friendly cat you would ever met. He loves to be around people and play with the other cats. He also just loves to lay around and do nothing is his specialty. And he also loves to play with women's hair, what a ladies man he is lol. He also can't wait until bed because he loves to play in my wife's hair for hours.

I am on a fixed income on social security disability. It has been a real struggle. Living pay check to pay check and with having three cats is very hard sometimes to take care of. Every one of my cats I brought in from the outside and have been taking care of very well.

We have been taking him to three vets and they want so much money. Then I got a hold of Animal Care Center of The Poconos. He has a a thyroid of the neck and a tumor in the ear witch all was bleed that has to be removed and needs a biopsy.

Comet loves to lay around and watch the other cats fight or if there is a mouse in the house he will just lay there and watch the other to cats run around with there heads cut off. He also loves to go outside and just lay in the yard all day long and do nothing or play in a dirt piles. I don't know what me and my family would do out him. Comet make us smile and happy every day,
