About this campaign

Constanza showed up at my door about three weeks ago. I have three other outside community cats who she quickly befriended. She was very skinny, but otherwise healthy. Unfortunately, after several days, I noticed she had a limp that progressively got worse.

My vet diagnosed her with a CCL tear in her rear knee, and she will require surgery. So far, the most affordable surgeon in my area is Dr. Martin at Simon Veterinary Surgical in Sherman Oaks, CA. The flat fee for surgery and all recovery follow ups is $5,000.

Constanza is a very sweet girl. She gets along with other cats, and seems to have a calming effect on even the most unfriendly cats. She has a loud purr and she loves attention. She is also very striking, with many physical attributes of a Maine Coone, except the size.

I am on a fixed income, and with the six other cats I care for, this is an expense I can't handle on my own. I would appreciate any financial help to reach my goal of $5000. The good news is that Constanza is already set to be adopted by a great family.
