About this campaign

Cookie came to us from a litter of 6 in 2017. She has been a huge part in our life and is in need of some help. She is a great loving caregiver to both myself and her mother whom has been battling with complications from post-covid for the past 4 years. She brings much joy to us and is full of life.

Cookie had developed a lipoma under her front leg. She had a biopsy done and it is benign. The hard part is that it has grown in size and it is now affecting her ability to walk normal. She does her best to deal with it but we can see it's bothering her.

Cookie is loving to humans and other animals alike. She goes back and forth to help my aging mother and disabled wife to make sure things are ok with them. She would love a companion but we are not ready. She lost her big sister, a Boston Terrier/Jack Russell mix, to an accident. Although her sister was standoffish they did have times of love.

4 yrs ago my wife was diagnosed with neurological problems from complications of post-covid. I work full time for a Veterans Hospital but we are still struggling trying to get caught up on past debt due to a single income for 3 years. We are almost there but still need help.
