After begging and begging for months, I was six years old when this beautiful angel came into my life in 2010. She was bullied by the children and bigger dogs in her previous home, but still never had any issues trusting and loving us with her whole heart. She has stayed strong with my family through everything, from losing our home to a flood in 2017 to facing homelessness in 2021-2026.

Cookie is suffering from tooth decay and is on antibiotics fighting oral infections that I fear could travel up into her brain. She is being treated by the All Pets Center in Grand junction Co and is scheduled to get her teeth pulled in march. I know in my heart her quality of life will greatly improve, and she will be able to enjoy her favorite snacks and life in general pain-free again.

Cookie is a gentle soul, who has never bit a soul in her life. Her favorite snacks are chicken, beef jerky, and unsurprisingly, cookies. She gets along with children, dogs, cats, and anyone who shows her love. She is very intelligent, and if you're sad or sick she will follow you dutifully and cuddle with you until you feel better. She loves running around with her doggy sibling and soft beds.

After struggling with homeless and living in hotels throughout 2021-2026, our family has finally found residence, but she still suffers from daily oral pain and infections. It would mean the world to anyone willing to extend their heart and assist us with her extractions.
