About this campaign
Cookie came into our lives when covid was starting to cooldown. Just shy of her 3rd birthday. She was being rehomed. We decided she was the one to get. She is a shy cat, she takes a bit to get use to us. She doesn't sit on your lap or like to be held. She did sleep by me and kept getting slowly closer.
As I described before she did slowly get closer. Her preferred spot was either right next to me on the armrest of the couch or if someone was sitting next to me like one of my daughters and they got up she would steal their spot. She loves gentle belly rubs.
We jokingly call her cookie (aka karen) because she didn't hesitate to tell us how she felt and the way she meows its like she's telling us how to do everything.
I took cookie in to her vet and they said we should take her to the vet hospital. But she said it would probably cost $1500 . I couldn't afford to do that. So they took x-rays, drained the fluid from around her lungs. And gave me some diuretic for her. They found saw some sort of mass in her intestinal area. But that needs an ultrasound. I would like to get her in to see what is wrong at bluepearl
I emptied my bank account just to get the x-rays, the lungs drained. I am hoping to save her life as she is still so full of it .I would love to see her be conpletely herself again. I was diagnosed with lyme disease last year and im still struggling with it after treatment.
