Cooper came into my life when he was about 3 weeks old. He was found with a stray litter that had been abandoned. He has been the joy of my life since the day I got him. He is the sweetest dog and is always so playful and happy. Seeing Cooper become so lethargic and sick within only a couple of days has been very difficult to watch. We love him so much.

Cooper loves to cuddle and seems to know when you need him most. He picks up on emotions well such as when I am feeling sad he will always come lay his head right on my lap. He has never bitten anyone and loves people so much. He is a very gentle and loving dog. I have had him since very soon after birth. Due to him being with an abandoned litter, we think he was 3 weeks when we got him.

Cooper loves to play fetch, run around zilker park, and play outside. Cooper loves to sit up straight on his back legs and give a small "humming" growl when he is hungry or wants something . He has an under bite and likes to show his teeth when staring. He loves to be cuddled and loved on and provides the same love and comfort to humans as well.

I am seeing help for an unknown chronic condition affecting Coopers health. He has had many test so far and we still don't have a conclusion as to what he has. He stayed overnight at VEG animal hospital i Austin and is currently at Westgate bird and animal hospital getting more tests run. He has been kept on a liquid IV and gained a pound. They feel that his dehydration has affected his kidney.

This is a major crisis for me as I am the sole person paying for Coopers medical needs and as a teacher who also helps support her family, the thousands I have already been billed within a couple of days while he has been in the hospital has been very overwhelming.
