Cooper is a 8-month-old Mixed Breed in Baltimore, MD, who needs $2,000 for CCWO Surgery.

Cooper was rescued from TN by a small rescue in Baltimore. I adopted Cooper from the rescue on 2/5/23. We have only been together for almost 3 months but he has brought so much joy into our lives. Cooper lives in a home with a human brother, 4 other furry friends Romeo-dog, Willow-Dog, Stormie-Cat and Lucky- Cat.

Cooper sleeps wherever his little heart desires during the day. (He has the couch, recliner, several dog beds). At night he sleeps in bed with his momma (Me). Cooper greets everyone with lots of tail wiggles, and kisses. He really loves kids who love to play with him. Unfortunately, at this time Cooper can not take long walks or hikes due to needing surgery in bilateral knees.

Cooper loves everyone! I wouldn't say he has a favorite person. I will say he loves to cuddle with his sister (dog). Cooper loves to give hugs! He has his own little personality that makes him special. He loves splashing in the pool but unfortunately, due to needing surgery he is on strict restriction.

Cooper has what is believed to be CCL disease which is rare in puppies and to have it in bilateral knees. This should be an easy fix once surgery is performed but is 5,100-6,089 per knee. So, we are looking at 10,200k-12,200k. Cooper will be on strict restriction for 8-12 weeks after surgery and will require Physical therapy.

It breaks my heart that an 8m old pup can't do normal puppy things. All Cooper wants to do is play with his siblings, splash in the pool, go for walks, and play fetch. Due to separation, I am finding myself in an extremely tight space.
