About this campaign

My husband Keith found Cooper on a pet page. He was the “runt” of his litter as he has an umbilical hernia as a puppy. When we went to pick him up, we saw how loving he was with the children and immediately fell in love. We brought him home to a fur brother Duke, who is exactly one year older than him. They fight and play like siblings, but love each other immensely.

Cooper had a routine dental appointment and the vet noticed that he had swollen lymph nodes in two parts of his body. She ordered blood work and a biopsy and it was confirmed a few days later that he has Lymphoma. We immediately took him to an oncologist and learned about his options. We decided to start a CHOP protocol.

Cooper joined our family when he was 4 months old and immediately clicked within our family. When we welcomed our son Hudson in 2020, he fell in love with him right away. They are inseparable as Cooper stays near him all the time and plays with him. Our son would be heartbroken if he did not make it.

We are welcoming a baby in May and I will not be receiving my usual salary. This is a constant concern. It would break our hearts if we are unable to afford care for our loving Cooper.
