Cooper had a rough start at life- found wandering the streets of Arkansas surviving on pea gravel. He was a shy, scared dog that had a traumatic past. We adopted him a year ago and he has thrived - he has grown to trust us and loves his fur sister. We chose him and after escaping the yard and coming back, he chose us as a his family

About a month ago, he developed lethargy, fevers, high WBC count, and anorexia. Multiple tests were done and all negative. About a week ago, he developed painful, draining wounds on his front paws. He ended up admitted at the emergency vet hospital and has been there for 4 days. The wounds on his paws are extensive and he may have to have a toe or two amputated due to vasculitis.

Cooper is a special dog. He started out shy and scared and has came out of his shell. He has learned to trust humans again after a traumatic past.
