Cooper is a 6 year old Labrador Retriever in Monroe, GA, who needs $2,500 for Tumor Removal w/ Possible Arm Removal.

Cooper was found in a Craigslist ad, he was the first dog me and my now husband got together. We have had him since he was 6 weeks old and he has been the most loving and sweetest dog I have ever had. My toddler daughter called him Boopie because she couldn’t say Cooper, and that has been his nickname ever since. We currently have one other dog, Maverick, a full blooded German Shorthair, who is 4.

Cooper started limping about a month ago, we initially thought he just pulled a muscle because he is very active. Sunday 8/2/26 I felt a mass under his arm. A vet visit on 8/3/26 with X-rays showed a large mass under his shoulder. A biopsy was done and surgery was recommended. The vet wants to try and remove it as whole but says if it has grown on the nerves he will lose the leg. His front left.

Cooper is the most gentle, sweetest, loving dog I have ever met. He loves our daughter beyond belief and follows her wherever she goes. He lets her lay on him and cover him with blankets. She loves tossing him treats and laughs as he catches them in the air. Cooper loves a lazy day on the couch and sleeping in his dad’s spot when he leaves for work in the morning.

I currently stay at home with our daughter and just finished attending school last week, so we are very limited on our disposable income. With this sudden unexpected expense, it is putting a very hard financial strain on us. Having cooper healthy means the world to us.
