Copper has been in his dads life for ten years and mine less than ten. He is a hunting dog and loves to be outdoors. He is super smart and just a loving pet. I am a single mother of a teenage boy So bills are super tight. I do have a job but paying for everything by myself has me strapped when it comes to paying his vet bill.

Copper loves to be outdoors. He loves to hunt with his daddy and follow us around everywhere. Just the other day he wanted to ride on the tractor with me while I mowed the grass. We both shared a small cushion on the tractor and mowed for hours as he sat with me. Just as content and happy as he can be. He also is a protector. He protects our animals on our small farm that we are creating.

Copper plays fetch. He can heal on command and can even sniff out a scent. He loves being asked to do things on command. He is always wagging his tail when I pull up and even barks but a friendly bark of course. My son plays catch with him and it’s nice seeing them bond together as well. When he gets on his back and wiggles it’s just so silly.

Currently copper is at Valdosta Veterinarian associates. He is on level three care and getting around the clock care. He has internal bleeding and we are not sure from what. He needs to be sent to a specialist for further examination. Currently he is stable but his red blood cell count is dropping. So time is precious.

I am a single parent with a teenage son. Because I am a single parent I am on a fixed income. Copper is a family member and deserves to be helped. It is my fault and I am dealing with a lot of guilt. Copper was ran over by me and it’s eating me alive. I just want to heal him
