Copper is a 12 year old Siberian Husky in Houston, TX, who needs $2,000 for TPLO.

Copper is a rescue from NY who captured my boyfriends heart at first sight. He is the most gentle being and I always tell my boyfriend that Copper sealed the deal for me. Seeing them together is truly a special connection to witness. Copper has a younger sister who he misses paling around and playing with. We recently lost my beloved cat a couple of weeks ago and we are not ready to lose him too.

Copper was suspected to have been hit by a car before he was brought in to the shelter so he has some hip pain when its cold or rains. He did have ACL surgery in 2020 on this same right leg but it was the least invasive option so it has been recommended that we go with the more invasive option. Other than that he is a healthy boy.

Copper is a gentle loving soul. When we go to the dog park (which we are unable to bring him to now) he greets and gently kisses every human there. He really is such a special soul, I want him to be able to do that again because he truly loves being outside and going to the dog park with his sister. His human friends miss him too.

We just moved from Maine to Houston TX. We underestimated how hard it would be to find work hear and I recently scored a job that doesn't start for a couple weeks so we do not qualify for Carecredit. My Boyfriend is doing interviews every day. We are in need of help.
