Copper is a 11-year-old Beagle in Lansdale, PA, who needs $1,200 for Dental Surgery.

Copper was relinquished into our senior dog rescue and sanctuary one month ago. His owner was going into a nursing home and could no longer care for him. He has very bad dental issues after his wellness check it was determined he is in dire need of a dental with extractions. He is having a hard time chewing hard bones and hard food so he is only eating wet food for the time being.

He is a very sweet dog. He adjusted to our rescue and sanctuary very quickly. He loves other dogs and people. We only have had him for a month but it is as if we have always had him here. He definitely does not act his age at all anyone that meets him thinks he is about six years old. He loves playing with the younger dogs.

Copper always knows when it is feeding time. He makes us aware that he is hungry and he barks and howls until we feed him. He makes us laugh he is such a beagle with his appetite. He also loves sunbathing as well outback there is a certain chair he likes to jump on and take naps on during the day. Despite his teeth bothering him he's a very good eater.

Copper came updated on vaccines. He is neutered. He has a history of being Lyme positive and is not currently on any medication for that as he is not showing any clinical signs of needing to be on any. He has very bad dental issues and his breath is very bad as well. The old owners were quoted around 2 grand for a dental and never did one for him.

We are a non profit 501 c 3 organization. We rely heavily on donations from the public. We specialize in senior hospice and paralyzed dogs. They all come with medical issues or are diagnosed with one's after we have had them in our care. They are vet checked every 6 months
