Copper is a 10-year-old Beagle in Topeka, KS, who needs $1,000 for Growth Removal and Abscess Treatment.

Copper came to me as a tiny little puppy in 2014. My niece brought him to me after my other beloved Beagle, Hudson passed away. He is a joy and loves to snuggle with me and run the yard.

Copper is anxious to always be with me, or to have his nose to the ground to root out moles, or to eat. Eating is his favorite thing second to laying next to me or going for a car ride.

Copper howls to the moon when I leave the house, like he's singing the blues. He runs acreage looking for moles though he's never found one, and definitely loves running and barking in the treeline.

Copper has a growth on his nose that needs removed as it is painful for him and irritates him. More urgently, yesterday I discovered his anal glands have abscessed under the base of his tail. They are huge abscesses that I never saw before because his tail and hair covered them. They are on either side of his tail and are ballooned to about the size of a quarter each.

I have been through a recent financial crisis before having discovered the anal gland abscesses. To pay for his veterinary care I need 61 dollars for the visit alone, and they have estimated near 500 for removal and unsure on cost of abscess and the funds are just not there.
