I purchased Correander during an interesting time in my life. I had been diagnosed with Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension and was taking a step away from school and trying to navigate everything... I named her after a book I fell in love with some years ago (I, Coriander). Correander has served as a sassy and lovable companion for a little over 3 years now.

It is mostly Correander and me, but she is lovable and kind when interacting with others- she may demand attention at times and at other times walk away when she has had enough cuddles. The vets say she is a delight and pleasant patient even after undergoing multiple surgeries in their office.

I love the way her ears perk up or she starts sniffing while I'm cooking. Her little button nose and how she gets happy when we play.... even when she side eyes me.. I just love Correander for Correander.... When I'm going through a depressive episode... she is right there and just comes to cuddle up with me... she just knows me...and I know her... the dog attack makes me feel... lost..

Correander was attacked by 2 large pit bulls in my apt community. 4-5 surgeries in. They are using leech therapy now to get blood flow going-the skin from under her jaw was ripped from the bone... and reattaching was a nightmare and the majority of it ended up rotting and having to be removed. They had to advance the skin twice-maybe a third time.

Unexpected sudden major expenses- I pulled out a Care Credit card to cover bills on top of maxing out my other credit card... I am about $5,300 deep in credit card bills and paying rent is hard to manage. Also, utilities and groceries are difficult to manage at this time.
