Cosina is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Zanesville, OH, who needs $5,000 for Ear canal removal surgery.

Cosina was abandoned by her mama on a farm in Ohio. Valt was introduced to her in 2021 at 8 weeks old. Her litter mates had been taken by wild animals. Cosina was outgoing and playful from the start. Valt brought her home to live with Adora. Over the years our family has grown to 7 kitties.

Cosina and her litter mates were inbred. Before Cosina was a year old she had a polyp removed from her left ear. Two years later it grew back and it had to be removed again. The vet told Valt that if it regrew again they would have to remove the ear canal. It has now grown back. The only place in Ohio that has the equipment to perform that surgery is MedVet in Columbus.

We call Cosina a permanent kitten because she still acts like one. She is silly, clumsy, and very affectionate. She loves her adopted siblings and will walk on them to get attention. Her favorite toy is a blue fish teaser from the dollar store. We had to buy all the stock to replace her fishy when she wears one out and we have to replace it.

We have struggled to provide for our cats but they always come first. Adora stayed with Valt through six moves and an abusive relationship. Shellie kept her cats through divorce and a major life overhaul. Our cats have seen us through a lot and we would do anything for them.
