Cotton EyedJoe, JoJo joined our family 3 years ago as a rescue. I chose to adopt a senior dog. He is my constant companion when I travel in my SUV, or now in the RV that we live in. He follows me around and watches over me. At 9 every night he comes to me and jumps in my lap, puts his paws around my neck, his head on my shoulder, for a hug, then goes to his bed to sleep. I cherish his hugs

JoJo has mass on his rear end that needs to be removed. The vets at All Creatures Vet Center cannot tell if it is cancerous or not based on the aspiration of the mass. The DRs encouraged me to have surgery to remove it within the next month. He also requires monthly heart worm medication. Recently he has been acting more tired and less playful and has some difficulty difficulty with BMs.

He is a sweet dog, loves children, and likes to dress up, He becomes anxious when it storms and prefers to wear his thunder shirt. It calms him. He does a happy dance to get a treat and nudges me with his nose when he wants to go outside. He is friendly to all my family members, and very gentle with my two year old great grandson. I am also a senior, and on our walks he stops and waits for me.

I am a preK teacher. Rcently my hours were cut in half. I am looking for a 2nd part time job, but wiith all of my expenses, I do not have the money for the surgery. This is awkward for me because usually I am the one helping others, but I love my dog so I am asking for help.
