About this campaign
Countess was a stray I started feeding when her "dad" dropped her off. She soon decided she wanted to be an indoor cat and hasn't left since. She is now part of a family of 6, who love her despite her bratty, rambunctious nature. Now she is always the life of the party, roughhousing with everyone, like it or not.
Countess almost instantly became my best buddy. She is incredibly affection and is my movie buddy, meaning whenever I lay down to watch something she comes over and cuddles up beside me. She also wakes me up in time for her karate lesson before breakfast, so she can defend herself from nemesis Daisy. (Daisy doesn't hate her, but is just a cranky oldster).
Countess has the sweetest face and the biggest eyes but behind that adorable mask is a mischievous brat. Even know she is active and animated despite her serious condition... which somehow makes this whole thing much worse. I just can't force myself to put down a kitten filled with so much life and happiness. She deserves a full life.
I rushed Countess yesterday to emergency yesterday after she rapidly began seeping fluids. She has been diagnosed with severe pyometra, which infects the vagina with dangerous bacteria. If it goes untreated for very long she will die. The mandatory surgery is very expensive and this is my last resort.
I am on a fixed income and the surgery is expensive. I'm also taking a hit because I am currently paying for expensive treatment (A nasal mold infection) for another of my cats, Daisy.
