Courage is a 3-month-old Beagle in Tucson, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Parvo Hospitalization.

This is Courage the Cowardly Dog but he’s been anything but a coward. He was a gift for my birthday but arrived with Parvo and has a terrible bout of it. We haven’t had him long but he’s already changed mine and my fiancés lives. He’s nothing but joy and a reason to celebrate life just by looking at him. He’s perfect and deserves the world but I can’t keep paying to keep him hospitalized.

He sleeps in our bed with us and likes to cuddle close with his little face in your neck. He got along with our 8 year old cat, Atticus since he got here which says something due to Atticus not liking other animals before. They’d cuddle on the couch and since Courage has been in the hospital since Tuesday, Atticus continues to look for him. Courage is nothing but sweet and radiates love constantly

Courage has fallen in love with a large Lambchop plush and holds her while he watches tv. He’s so small that they are the same size and he thinks it’s his little girlfriend. The best part is that he is named Courage after the little pink dog from the show. Funnily enough he loves to watch the show and see the real Courage. It’s like he knows it’s him. He is even more courageous and keeps fighting.

Courage arrived to us with Parvo unbeknownst to us. We had him for 6 days until he had shown severe symptoms. We admitted him to Civano Animal Hospital in Tucson on 12/12 and it’s been 6 days and he’s still there fighting but declining and bouncing back multiple times. He’s being cared for intensely there in the NICU and getting lots of love and proper care but needs plasma transfusions.

He’s been there 6 days and we’ve paid $10,000 already and cleaned out our savings but we just can’t give up on him when he’s fighting so hard on his side. I’m even considering selling my eggs to fund his stay but it will take too long and this vet doesn’t do payment plans.
