About this campaign
In April 2015, a classmate posted a notice on the library bulletin board about adopting Cow and I though he was the cutest cat I'd ever seen. She was graduating and moving back to her home country and didn't want to disrupt his life. She said her was 6 months but after his neuter appointment, it was determined he was 2 or 3. I pet him from behind and knew he was mine. I took him home next month.
Since June 8th, I noticed his eating habits changed and he isn't having regular bowel movements. I grew more concerned when he became lethargic and was consuming more water than usual, so on Monday June 17th, I went to ASPCA and examined him and found high levels of creatinine. At a Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, this was reinforced, and anemia was diagnosed.
My cat loves people so much, I think me most though. He is very friendly and gentle with adults and children. He loves to play around the corner tag and chasing lights including refractions from my cell phone or jewelry. He is very, very vocal and has helped me amplify my voice. He is my emotional support animal and my closest confidante. I love him 3000 .
I have been out of work since 2021 due to disability. I am currently waiting for a date for my SSI case to be heard by the Appeals Council. I receive SNAP/CA to cover most of my monthly expenses, I rely on the support of loved ones for extras and have no savings. or credit.
