About this campaign

Cowgirl was found roaming the streets of Ft. Worth, it was clear she'd been alone for a while, and we wanted to help. Although she had a microchip, her previous owner said she did not want her back. So stepping up and taking her in was her only hope.

Initial vet visits with Dr. Bell at Banfield Pet Hospital helped get her hookworms, ear, eye, and skin infections treated. Dr. Bell also determined Cowgirl is completely DEAF, and she had some hip stiffness too. She was referred to Dr. Joanne Franks at DVSC who determined she needs both a hip surgery and knee surgery to live pain free. These procedures also require physical therapy post-op.

Cowgirl is in her own little world, she absolutely is a bit of a goofball and other dogs think shes little bit defiant, because when they growl SHE CANT HEAR THEM, but they dont know that. She's super friendly to all humans and has the sweetest temperament.

The universe allowed this sweet soul into my heart, and these surgeries will be unexpected expenses, but I refuse to give up on her. Please help with any amount you can, anything helps.
