About this campaign

Cricket was part of a TNR effort in our community. After he was released, we noticed he was not doing well and knew he was in need of medical attention. We trapped him, and rushed him to the vet.

Despite being so sick, he has been the sweetest kitten and is so loving. He is very vocal and likes to talk while you pet him. Cricket is friendly and loves everyone!

Cricket is very weak, but he still manages to make some biscuits when his energy is up. He is a lovebug and purrs even though his breathing is labored.

Unfortunately, Cricket’s little 2.9lb body and lungs are filled with fluid and his blood work does not look good. The diagnosis is FIP. This is a very serious illness and requires extensive, costly treatment. Cricket is being treated by Dr. Michelle Tilghman at Loving Touch Animal Center.

Cricket's diagnosis is FIP. This is a very serious illness and requires extensive, costly treatment. He will need daily injections for 84 days in order to treat the illness. He is currently in our foster care at AARF.
