About this campaign
Croustille comes to us from an indigenous community where he used to roam freely.
Following a serious injury, he had to undergo major surgery, and he'll need another procedure on his teeth in the near future before he can live his life in peace.
Croustille suffered a big injury to his leg, the origin of which we don't know. We took him in and unfortunately had to amputate his left front leg. The clinic in charge of Croustille was the Passionimo veterinary clinic in La Pointe. This surgery is not the only one he has to undergo, as his teeth will also have to be treated. Croustille has to have a canine and a fractured premolar extracted.
Croustille is currently with his foster family, who are taking good care of him. He's extremely sociable, both with humans and other dogs. You can feel his need to be close to his family: he sleeps close to the other dog in the family almost all the time. Although originally an outdoor dog, he quickly adapted to the warmth of a loving home.
Having already undergone a major amputation of his left front paw, Croustille is in urgent need of dental work. The cost of these surgeries is considerable, and we need to find resources as soon as possible to help Croustille.
