Crow came to us as sort of a rescue, so we just know him as a mix. We ended up adopting him when I got a call from my mom over 5 years ago. She said a young dog needed a new home asap, and we took him home that night. We picked a Plot Hound mix since he looked most like them. He currently lives at home with myself, husband, two toddlers and his sister pup Gypsy.

Crow is the first born and gets special treatment, he supposed to sleep in his bed next to his sister but he always ends up in ours. He gets along well with everyone, but I get to be his favorite. He is super lazy and likes it that way, but he will move for food. I don't think I've met a person or dog Crown hasn't gotten along with, he is the most easy going pup I've ever known.

You have never met a dog with more personality than Crow, he has a human gaze that looks right into your soul lets you know he completely understands. I love how needy he is with attention, stare you down until you keep petting, or literally grab you with his hands and not let go. He just always conveys an emotion plain as day on his face which is endlessly entertaining.

Crow has always been a healthy dog, he has always gone either to Aqueduct Animal Hospital or Niskayuna Animal Hospital. Unfortunately, he and his sister got into a fight and she is much stronger and got him good. We think she was running after a squirrel in the backyard when Crow accidently stepped in her path - and when she goes for something she goes hard. She is currently sad waiting for him.

Never in my life have I had a vet bill this large, $2,800 is what we were estimated. Having two children under 3 we don't have exactly that much extra - daycare, mortgage, loans, school. I need him in my life more than anything and will do what I need.
