Cruz is a 1-year-old Australian Cattle/German Shepard/Husky/ Pitbull in Denver, CO, who needs $2,000 for Gastroduodenal Intussusception.

We rescued Cruz in March 2021 in Colorado, we waited awhile for the right time for a dog. When we got him we new that he was the missing piece in our life. He will be 2 in January! Cruz’s first year of life was rough and he was a trooper! He is so sweet and loveable. We hope to have Cruz a long time and give him the best life!

Cruz is so smart and intuitive. He loves to play hide and seek with his toys. He loves snuggles and all people. He is our best friend and makes everything more fun. Because of his hemophilia A we have to be careful about getting cut while playing with other dogs. With that said, he loves other dog! He has a few friends that are so sweet and he gets to play with!

Cruz is very emotional, if he doesn’t get his way he pouts! Veryyyy dramatic! He also shows his love, he loves affection and giving it right back! He wants to be close to any human, whether it’s laying on your feet or snuggling up to you face. He is very mischievous and makes life so much fun, we can’t imagine our life without him!

He had a blood transfusion at 6 months because we found out he has hemophilia a. Hemophilia A causes Cruz not not stop bleeding. So whether he is losing a tooth or a small cut, it’s rough! It also causes his joint to swell and he can’t run around like most pups. Currently though he has Gastroduodenal Intussusception and will need to go into surgery. Having hemophilia makes this really scary!

In the past year we have spent over $10,000 on Cruz. Today is looking like another $6,000-10,000. We have an offer on our first house (we skipped on a having a wedding to buy) we are worried about loosing our financing.
