Cruz is a 2-year-old Boxer in Edgewood, TX, who needs $1,800 for ACL Repair.

Cruz is a pandemic puppy. We rescued him from austin pets alive. He was the breath of fresh air during what we thought was the scariest times in our life. His quirky goofy loving self made the worst days sooo worth it. He was the sweetest smartest best puppy and is now the sweetest smartest 2 year old boy!

We had to move in with my mom due to me actually needing multiple ankle surgeries. He has been my rock during every surgery I’ve been through. He’s the first one by your side if he senses anything is wrong and will lay with you as long as you need. His personality brings a smile to everyone in the house even if we’ve had a rough day.

Cruz has always been very vocal and loves to talk, he makes sure you know he’s there and wants everyone to say hi to him! He’s never met a stranger, people or animal lol he thinks he’s everyone’s best friend even if they may not fee the same! He is very much a head rester, always wants a pillow or lap to lay his big loving head on.

He recently tore his ACL and has really been a trooper. But seeing him limp and in paid breaks my heart every second of the day. He is being seen by Dr. Buck at the Van Zant County Animal Clinic. He’s on medication that is keeping him comfortable but surgery is the only option to correct the ACL tear

Unfortunately I have to now have another ankle surgery after two failed replacements and tendon surgeries. I am unable to work at this time and do not have enough saved for his surgery. No matter how much pain I’m in nothing compares to seeing him hurt.
