Crystal was a rescue who came into our lives around 6 years ago. We rescued her from being euthanized. She was very fearful when she came to us and hid in the corner behind a chair. She eventually warmed up to everyone and became attentive to me. If I fall or start coughing she comes up to me and pokes at me with her face to see if I am ok..Will not leave my side until I get up or quit coughing.

She walks well on a leash. She lets us know when people are at house. She waits for a signal that the visitor is ok before approaching to check them out. She lays down by wherever family is at inside or outside. She loves to be out in the yard. People who visit fall in love with her almost instantly.

I am on disability. I had our cat get a blood filled area over her whole ear that burst. Had vet bills for that. She still needs surgery to repair her ear. My other pit mix dog also has had a couple of illnesses. My dogs and cat keep me company and keep my spirits up.

She developed a mucus bloody discharge. She was drinking a lot and seemed to move slowly as if in pain. Called my vet and found out very serious but they didn’t have any open spots. Called around and had an appointment but came home to a lot more drainage. Took her to Rascal Animal Hospital in Dublin. Ohio, where Pyometra discovered and emergency surgery required.

Well, she knows the cat is not to be on the counter so she barks to tell them get down. As I said in the beginning, if I am hurt she will not leave my side until I am better. She sneaks up on the bed as soon as she thinks no one will see her. She loves to lie on a big pillow. She goes right to the crate if she thinks she is in trouble. She gently takes a treat from your offered hand.
