Cuda is a 9 month old Mix-Breed in Zephyrhills, FL, who needs $700 for Bilateral Eye Enucleation.

Cuda was found in the parking lot at my husbands work. He was about 5-6 weeks old and had a bad infection in both eyes. We discovered his eyes were sealed completely shut. He has 9 brothers. (Cats) He gets along well either them all. He is surprisingly smart for being blind., and gets around just fine. Some days you would never know he can’t see.

His eyes were sealed shut when he was found. We did try surgery to open them and they were shut again within a week. He now has discharge from the eyes and nose. I clean his eyes daily. On a recent trip to the vet we were told the best option for him is to surgically remove both of his eyes to help prevent future problems and infections.

Cuda loves to play with his brothers. He also has dog family and gets along with them as well. He is an amazing addition to our family. We just want what is best for him. He loves to cuddle and is very curious. We have fallen in love with this little guy.

I have just started back to work after being out for health reasons recently. I still could not turn this baby away. We are looking at $700 for his surgery. I feel this surgery will prevent any future eye infections or pain associated with his condition.
