Curry has been in our lives since he was 6 months old. He is a German shepherd and Labrador retriever. He lives out in the yard where he’s free to run around but he is currently inside the house due to his current condition.

On the morning of Thursday, May 28th, our world turned upside down. We realized our usual routine was broken when Curry wasn’t waiting by the door to greet us. After an anxious search, we found him hiding—a place he had likely been for over 12 hours.
When we found him, he was shaking, excessively thirsty, and devastatingly, he had lost all movement in his back legs. His back legs paralyzed.

Curry is a brilliant, joyful, and deeply loving companion who has brought so much light into our lives. He is not just a pet, he is family, and he has so much more life left to live.

Curry is my only dog, I am a senior citizen with disabilities so I live in limited income. We are holding onto hope for a miracle, the miracle of seeing Curry run and play again. The initial emergency costs, the upcoming diagnostic testing, and surgery, it’s overwhelming.
