About this campaign

Cypress is a community cat living in Cypress, California on a college campus. She lives with a colony of 26 and our rescue is working on TNRing all of them.

Cypress sustained deep lacerations on her back leg, likely from a chain link fence or other sharp object, and has nerve damage in her front shoulder causing limited use of her front paw. She is currently hospitalized under veterinary care receiving wound treatment, antibiotics, and X-rays at Central Orange County Animal Emergency Hospital.

Cypress is a sweet community kitty that is very friendly and vocal with her feeder. She deserves a chance to live a healthy outdoor life with her colony.

Our rescue knew we could not leave Cypress to suffer. Her ER care has already cost $1500 and her continued bandage changes as well as possible amputation will be more costly. The students of this campus love these cats and want to see Cypress healed and healthy.
