Cyrus is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Hinesville, GA, who needs $6,000 for MRI to Diagnose Epilepsy.

We decided to add another member to our family, so looking into various adoption agencies, came across The Humane society of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick GA., where it is not only an adoption agency, but a sanctuary for cats and dogs alike. During the last week of July 2024, The Humane society decided to offer a free adoption day, so we adopted Cyrus our baby of the house.

Cyrus discovery of the epilepsy was during and after the extraction of his back teeth. Liberty Veterinary medical center help us to get a referral to Live Oak Veterinary Specialty which this clinic specializes in cats with neurological disabilities.

Our Cyrus is so cute and cuddly, docile, calm and at times hyper or electric with our other cats. He loves to climb on the counter to get attention when he wants a snack or its time for his meals. He looks for our attention if he is going to have an episode. Its his way of saying " mom , dad , I'm going to have an episode ". He loves to sit in my left arm when carried like it is a rocking chair.

Dr. Jason King DACVIM ( Neurology) specialist at Live Oak Veterinary specialists clinic highly recommended to get the MRI done to determine the cause of his epileptic seizures. This is so important for us because he is part of our family so he can have the right treatment.
