Hello everyone. This new love of my life came into my life as a gift. I have wanted a German shepard for over 15 years, but could not afford the fees requested from rescues, nor breeders. I called a breeder I saw online (just on a whim in high hopes for a good price), well to my surprise, she offered to give me one at no cost. I immediately went to get him and it was love at first sight.

D'Lourde is a large dog, and because he's large, his name comes from my largest inspiration, "The Lord". He loves playing in the grass, rolling on the floor, and has his very own king size crate, his crate seems to be his place of choice to hide his toys. His favorite place is under the couch. He loves licking my grandchildren in the mouth (so funny) and playing with my daughter's puppy too.

D'Lourde is very quiet, not a barker. He very special to me because it's a breed I've always wanted. He makes me smile just knowing I have him. He follows me everywhere, even to the bathroom (which I tell him I've been going alone for a long time). 🤣🤣🤣 He walks out as if he's saying ok, I'll go now. I love the security I feel with him.

D'Lourde was born with a class 5 heart murmur which could possibly be a hole in his heart, or Patent Artery Defect. If treated early it will save and prolong his life. Gulfport Veterinarian is his vet in St. Peterseburg, Florida and BluePearl Pet Hospital is his cardiologist office in Largo, Florida.

This is a sudden major expense for me. I work 2 days a week and my husband is disabled. Having D'Lourde healthy would give me extreme JOY knowing that I and others have given him the best chance at surviving and having a good life.
