About this campaign

I rescued Daisy and her 8 siblings from people with plans to drown the puppies. Daisy found her home in my house and heart 9 years ago now. She has lived in 6 different states, swam in both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, loves to hike, kayak, swim, and camp! To know her is to love her. She is so friendly, loyal, and never made a single enemy!

She has 2 sisters, Remi (cat) and Tanin (bearded dragon). She waits in like while Remi drinks from her bowl and let's Tanin lay on her to get warm. She loves to be around all people, especially if they want to play tug of war with her rope! She is patient and never makes any mess or play with things that aren't hers, she event left a bag of chips that dad left on the floor !

She is starting to carry her weight on front and I'm worried she will injure herself. The last course of treatment are x-rays and surgery which is way out of our budget. While she has lived life more than some people, I know she still has so much more life and love to give.

We were told she slipped a disc and we could not afford the surgery. With our vet, we have tried different treatments including, anti-inflammatory, crate rest, acupuncture, Eastern meds, and massage. But now there is a lump near her spine and the vet requests more x-rays to see what is getting worse. She recently started to knuckle, wobble, and her tail is paralyzed.

Her overwhelming love for people and things is remarkable. It's admirable that she has so much love to give and never asks for anything in return. She has always been a quick and dedicated learner and so patient! You can leave a treat on the floor, tell her to wait and leave and she won't get it until you return and tell her its okay.
