Daisy is a 9 year old Golden Retriever in Beaverton, OR, who needs $2,000 for Chemotherapy (Oral or IV).

My whole life I always wanted a sweet Golden Retriever, my dream dog! When my children were 10 years old (I have twins ) I knew the love of a dog was something that every child should experience- joyful, silly pure love that is good for the heart and soul- when we went to pick her up at 8 weeks old I cried tears of joy she was the sweetest, most cuddly bundle of cuteness and it was instant love !

When Daisy was having trouble breathing I rushed her to the ER (VEG) where they took x rays and discovered a lot of fluid in her abdomen- they drained over a quart from her, and then gave me the grim news that she most likely has hemangiosarcoma, a deadly form of cancer-we then had to bring her to Dove Lewis ICU and Med Vet the next Monday for follow up- we are devastated :(

Daisy is the most loving, sweetest gentle dog ever- my Mother just passed in October 2024 and we are still dealing with that indescribable heartache and now we have to face this battle with our beloved Daisy. I am doing everything I possibly can for her and she is definitely showing signs of feeling much better! Her breathing is 90% better and you can see the light back in her eyes! We are hopeful

I am a single Mother of 2 children- - They lost their Father to Cancer when they were 5, so you can imagine how hard this is for them- All of the ER visits and testing maxed out my credit cards and all I can afford is oral chemo for her- we are praying so hard for her !
