About this campaign
I met Daisy on April Fool's Day in 2019. She looked right at me in this special certain way and I just knew immediately how sweet and special she was. I took her home and she was a hyper little girl! She was initially timid and afriad but quickly came out of her shell and inserted herself into all aspects of my life!
Daisy loves kitties! When she first came to live with me, we had a male cat, Emmett who she looked up to. Eventually, he died and Daisy was very sad. Then we adopted a new kitty, Beatrice and Daisy was happy! Also, a little jealous but overall, they are great friends and get along really well. Since Daisy knows she's the "elder" now, she considers it her job to keep track of all cat activities!
Daisy is special in so many ways. She's smart, knows lots of words and listens in for her favorites! Cookie, dinner, walk, ball, kissy, huggie, kitten, sister, mommy. She is very sweet and gentle. She actually "hugs" new people when she meets them. She is a wonderful protector. I feel safe with her. She is such an integral part of my life on so many levels and I know I'm blessed to know her.
Recently, Daisy ws diagnosed with severe Pulmonic Stenosis which is a heart defect she was born with. I never knew about it until she went for her three year check up and the vet heard a loud heart murmur. From there, we were eventually referred to Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital for a possible stent placement surgery.
I have a job as an RN. I went through a rough divorce and my credit took a big hit. I have applied for credit but was denied. Also, pet insurance considers Daisy's heart a pre exeisting condition so that's out too. I'm currently working to save as much as I can.
