About this campaign
I found Daisy on Petfinder and picked her from a shelter called Four Paws Cat & K9 near Detroit, MI. I've had her since she was about 10 weeks old and we have been together ever since. I am currently in graduate school so money has always been a bit short. Due to timing, finances, and comfort we have moved twice since I have had her, but has always had a sweet demeanor and makes friends quickly.
Daisy had health problems from the start with a few deciduous teeth, sensitive stomach, and a quick run in with a parasite. After discovering that she is allergic to chicken and beef, we got her on the correct food and did well for a while. Then she began limping. We found that both knees were prone to luxating patella. We had surgery on the right knee and it has healed well and now need left done
Daisy has always loved people and, though shy at first, other pups. She makes friends with our neighbors' dogs pretty quicky and has a few boyfriends she likes to sniff bums with. Did well in daycare and graduated from class. As a short hair, she loves a good hoodie during cold weather. Is loved by all friends and family and has changed the mind of my pops who doesn't like dogs.
In graduate school with limited income. I am still paying off CareCard from the last surgery. She needs the next one soon so there's no further injury i.e. grinding bone, torn ligament in her left knee. The surgery has 99% longterm success to reduce her pain and discomfort.
