About this campaign
Daisy, a sweet 2-year-old brown and white tabby, was found just days before Christmas by one of Castaway Critter's fosters while feeding a colony of stray cats in Harrisburg, Pa. This brave kitty had a severely injured tail—completely degloved, with a portion already missing.
The remaining nub was dangerously close to infection, and Daisy was at high risk of sepsis. Without hesitation, the foster scooped her up and rushed her to the vet, where it was determined that her tail needed immediate amputation to save her life. In addition to the surgery, Daisy received her vaccinations and necessary medications to help her on the road to recovery.
Daisy has come a long way since her surgery and after having her stitches removed, she has healed up great. Furthermore, Castaway Critters needs your help to cover the significant medical expenses that have accumulated. Your donations will go directly toward covering Daisy’s life-saving surgery and ongoing care so she can start a new, healthy life. Thank you!
