Daisy is a 8 year old Pug in Lakeland , GA, who needs $2,409 for Splenectomy.

I found Daisy online on a rehoming site in 2018. She was six months old and it was love at first sight! She is currently 8 years old and has two Pug brothers, one 2 and one 13.

This weekend she started to make a hacking sound and became short of breath several times. I took her to Hahira Veterinary Clinic. I was expecting her to need an antibiotic perhaps. Two ultra sounds, an x ray and some blood work later I learned that my Daisy has a tumor attached to her spleen and needs a Splenectomy. Without this the vet said her symptoms would only worsen.

Daisy is a fun and sassy little pug. She is very vocal and loves to howl to express herself. She loves playing with Lamb Chop stuffies and her log toys that have borrowing squirrels in them for her to find. She loves going for car rides and knows how to roll the windows down all by herself if the window lock is not on. She loves to be the center of attention and knows how to make anyone smile.

I am on a fixed income. Many people will say I shouldn't have a pet if I can't take care of it. To those I will say she's been pretty well cared for, but emergencies do happen to us and our fur babies. I can't imagine life without her in it.
