About this campaign
This is Daisy (named after my favorite flower). She is a Husky mix we adopted from the Orange County Shelter. Me and my husband had already adopted another dog and two cats years ago but felt like we were missing a little girl to complete our family. We visited the shelter in hopes to find her, that is when we saw Daisy. She drew our attention because she came right to us, she was just so sweet.
We had to take Daisy to the emergency vet due to noticing upper respiratory symptoms. She has been diagnosed with Pneumonia, she had to stay hospitalized for a few hours to make sure everything was okay. We took her home but now she is refusing to eat so she has to go back to the emergency especially because when we adopted her, she was already only 42 lbs.
Daisy has shown us in the short amount of time she has been part of our family that she loves to show affection and protect the people she loves. She loves to just look a you with loving eyes and getting scratches. She will follow everywhere and she can be a talker sometimes when she wants your attention
My husband switched jobs and I am not working so I can take care of her. We have paid close to $5000 in treatment for her already and we maxed out our Care Credit card paying for part of it visit and also because we had to take our other dog to the emergency recently
