About this campaign
Daisy Mae came to us from a breeder, she is a full blooded mini dachshund. I have 4 other dogs as well but she was special. We got her in may of 2024. She was tiny but we weren't sure how it was going to go but we were ready. Daisy's name was decide by her dad, He said "She looks like a daisy and I agreed. She is a daddy's girl for sure.
Daisy's problem can be easily treated with a surgery. The breeder we got her from said the hernia would go away in 3 months. Where it was I didn't believe them, So we decided to take her to our vet Cielo Grande in Roswell, NM and they agreed with me, so they want to do the surgery but at the time she was too young.
Daisy is a ball of energy, she loves to cuddle with her sister Roxy and her brother Benelli. But she loves to play with her toys and her siblings. When she is laying with her dad she will roll over and expect him to rub her belly. She will lay there for hours like that. She acts like a guard dogs at times, when guests come over. She is got big dog energy for sure.
We had a surgery scheduled but I lost my job and so did my fiance. So we have fallen on hard times. We know she needs it and we just can't afford it at this time. Her hernia has gotten bigger and we need to get it fixed before her bladder falls out. Please help if you can.
