About this campaign

Daisy was adopted by my mother and father as a gift to my little sister. Shortly after, she suffered from a broken pelvic bone and a fractured knee after being hit by a truck. I paid the medical expenses and took care of her while on kennel rest. Divorce caused my mother to move away, and my father passed. Daisy has since been in my care for three years and she is about four years old.

Daisy was diagnosed with IMHA a little over a month ago. A life-threatening disease that causes the body to destroy itself. I have been to Las Sendas Animal Hospital 1-3 times a week doing everything in my power to make Daisy well again. This journey has been an extreme rollercoaster, and while Dr. Peachy and Dr. Muro have been amazing, her treatment now calls for an internal medicine specialist.

Daisy loves on everyone with her cuddles and kisses. She brightens the room with her energetic loving personality. Daisy LIVES for fetch she will play as long as you allow even in this lovely Arizona heat. Daisy loves to go on hikes with me but not the lake (she wants you to know the water is evil). I call her Crazy Daisy but despite this, she is a breath of heaven. My breath of heaven.

I am a special education teacher but rely on waitressing. In the midst of this crisis, I was fired from the restaurant, so I've been donating plasma for extra money. I am in debt from blood work, tick panels, x-rays, medications, and weekly blood tests. I feel at a loss.
