About this campaign

This is my baby Daisy. I found her outside abandoned in 2017 and she has stuck with me ever since. I promised her I would take care of her no matter what and I wouldn’t just throw her away. Her leg was run over by a car 6/19/22. I’ve had to take her to the emergency room to get a cast put on but her vet says she will need surgery.

Daisy is all that I have. I lost my mother in 2017 and I found her when my mother was sick. She kept me company during really rough times and is my emotional support animal. She always knows when I need a little extra love. Right now I’m trying to return the favor to her and get her well again. If we can’t get the surgery I will have to make the tough decision to amputate her leg.

Daisy is a very social cat. She loves people and people love her. She likes to be center of attention. She loves to jump up on the dinner table chairs and act like she’s having dinner with me. I love it because it doesn’t make me feel so alone. I like to tell her about my day and she just sits there everyday and just listens.

Daisy is a healthy cat. I’ve never had major issues with her health, thank God . She gets annual check ups every year and she never gives me any trouble. Accidents happen and unfortunately Daisy fell victim to a horrible mistake and now needs treatment. Daisy is being treated at the Cordova animal medical center.

The bones in her leg shattered and now she needs a metal plate to hold her tiny bones together. I’ve already spent 1200 for her pain meds, cast, and other items to keep her comfortable like extra bedding and an accessible litter box for her. I’m living paycheck to paycheck
