Daisy is a two-month-old Labrador mix in Ringwood, NJ, who needs $1,000 for emergency care.

Daisy can't catch a break, and this sweet puppy needs your help.

First, she ended up at an animal shelter. Then, she got adopted by Matthew L. and his wife. Then two days after they brought her home, she was attacked by a neighbor's dog. She now needs emergency care at the Oradell Animal Hospital.

"She needs to have major surgery and stitches," Matthew tells Waggle. "We would greatly appreciate any help for her veterinarian bills as we couldn't get pet insurance within a day of having her. We got married and bought a home. We need a new roof and windows. We did not foresee a $1000 medical bill for a brand new puppy."

Even more distressing is how this attack will impact Daisy, who has such a sunny disposition.

"She is only 11 weeks old and the sweetest, most well-behaved girl around," Matthew says. "She has transformed our home. She is a happy, playful, and fantastic pup."
