Daisy is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in Riverside, CA, who needs $10,000 for PDA Closure.

I first saw Daisy on a website looking for a multi-poo. I saw her face and instantly fell in love. I wandered why she was so cheap. She was listed for $200. When I talked with the breeder she said Daisy had a heart murmur. I said oh ok my other dog has a heart murmur and didn’t think much about it and picked her up she became part of our family.

Daisy needed alot right off the back. I found out that she had mange and needed to be treated. I took care of her mange and now she is free of mange. I then took her to the Dr. for vaccines and spayed. They told me before they can spay her she needs to be seen by a cardiologist so they can clear her for anesthesia to be spayed.

Daisy is the sweetest little girl and so curious. She is my little companion and so protective. She deserves a chance at life. They gave her 3 months to live. She needs open heart surgery to close her PDA valve. This will give her an extended life of 8-9 years. If she goes into congestive heart failure, that’s it.

We are retired and are on a fix income. I have insurance but maybe they will pay $4000. The surgery is $7000- 10,000. I might be able to pay $2000 on my own but that’s it. She’s on medication now which will extend life maybe a year.
